Probably the loudest thing I have ever experienced but at a normal, predictable interval. The line represented how close you could get to the fog signal without experiencing physical harm in the form of eardrums shattering or worse.Įven in the house it was LOUD. There was a thick line painted in a circle around the shack where the fog signal was kept. I lived and worked in a lighthouse at a previous job. So WD just put him into the room but made it so it can only be opened from the outside?Īgain just some theories I had and the second one may be a bit of a stretch but you should let me know what you think! steven universe steven universe theory legs from here to homeworld theory legs from here to homeworld white diamond pink diamond yellow diamond blue diamond white pearl garnet ameythst su pearl steven Connie homeworld fan theory theory So there would be no point in keeping him in an actual bubble since he can easily pop it. What if this is said room? I know what you might be thinking: But Snowy, Steven wasn’t put in a bubble! I know but think about this, as far as we know, Steven can’t be poofed even by gem technology. The second theory I have is kind of the same thing but in this case going back to what Yellow had said about talking to White that if Steven didn’t want to be in a bubble for the next few millennia that she should do the talking. One (kind of like the comic underneath also credit to Bindiiielle? I can’t read) this place where he’s been put in is kind of in this sense a “timeout” room because “Pink” was “out past curfew playing her little game” and locking “Pink” in “her” room will stop (alright I’m switching to Steven now) him from doing it again as a sort of disciplinary tactic. So where is he? I think one of two things. Just in time for the flying monkeys. So I’ve been looking back at this scene in Legs from here to Homeworld and I’ve been thinking, what I’ve got from this is that White Diamond didn’t keep Steven in her ship because you can see Steven looking out a window like thing that faces it.

Maybe I just think that because all of the Diamonds so far have turned out to be humbugs.Īt least Connie's actually being included now. Now I'm expecting some sort of Wizard of Oz set of waiting, and demanding to see White, and unsatisfactory audiences, and being asked to go kill the Wicked Witch of the West coming up next. They obviously really wanted the cliffhanger but we don't get any interaction, as she just monologues at Steven as if he were Pink, and sends him away. Presumably Yellow and Blue's ships will be repaired in time for them to all join together at some point.Īnd then White is, well, kind of a disappointment.

There's a giant White Diamond head and torso on Homeworld that she apparently lives in, completing the figure. At this point I feel like they ought to be making a plan for that since it happens every time they go anywhere. So everybody except Bismuth, who's once again the most sensible Gem, loads up into the ship and heads off to the Gem Homeworld to find White Diamond, who is predictably only interested in Steven and immediately separates them. Which is a little funny watching Steven try to operate, but reminded me strongly of the half-finished horse float Marty built in The Critic episode "All the Duke's Men," which probably wasn't what they were going for. But where Yellow and Blue had spaceships shaped like arms, and the Cluster made a pink arm-ship to fight for Steven, apparently Pink's spaceship is a pair of high-heel-wearing legs with a rather shapely behind to connect them. So now we get White Diamond, at least for a few seconds of monologue, and that's lovely and plotty and all but the real focus of this episode seems to be on Steven's legs.

At least, Yellow and Blue and Steven can't. The Diamonds, it turns out, can't do anything permanent to fix the insane shards. So we got a surprise web episode dropped on us this week, continuing from where were left off at what we all thought was going to be the end of Season 5.
